11/2/14 Bisti Day one

The car camper sure had a miserable morning. It was cold, and the wind was howling. I watched them struggle to try and keep their mini burner lit, bundled up in hats & gloves. I love my rv.

I didn't rush out there either as it was so miserable, but I finally drove up the road to the end, hoping to find the ruins of the old Bisti Trading Post. I wandered around for hours through incredible landscapes, and sometimes had to hunker down with my shirt over my nose & mouth as dust blew through like you see in the movies.
