11/9/14 Quiet day at Goosenecks

I almost left again, and didn't. Definitely leaving tomorrow though. I've been here a while, and temps and temps are supposed to dip well below freezing at night. Heading south through Monument Valley to Kayenta. I think, anyway. From there I might do Canyon de Chelly. Leah & Richard talked about that and I kinda forgot it was so close. We'll see. I took a little hike with the IR camera and enjoyed another gorgeous sunset. What an awesome place.

A lot of rock here looked like broken pavement. I had a vision of a sign saying, "You are standing on the ruins of an advanced civilization. The people of this place called it Man-Hat-Ten."
